Passengers boarding through the Aloha Atrium will immediately be struck by the friendly, casual atmosphere inside the ship.  The Atrium is a popular meeting point on the ship due to its central location and its proximity to the ships reception, gift shop and shore excursion desk. The Aloha Bar in the Atrium is a great place to meet up at the start of the evening, what could be better than sipping on some pre dinner drinks with friends whilst listening to the Jade Orchestra’s repertoire of jazz and piano music. Just aft from the Atrium you’ll find the ship’s Art Gallery featuring a selection of artworks by a range of well-known artists and The Galleria Boutiques, a Ralph Lauren themed shopping area. 

The main pool area is also on deck 12, there are two main pools surrounded by four hot tubs. One of the pools is adult only and the other is a family pool, sun loungers and chairs are available poolside. Younger children love the spiralling waterslide that’s right next to the family pool and they also enjoy splashing about in the small kid’s pool just round from the waterslide. Topsider’s Bar and Grill is situated near the pools serving tasty burgers, chicken, hotdogs and other snacks with sides.

Cruisers looking for something less strenuous should stop off at the Card Room where they’ll be able to socialise with fellow cruisers over a game of bridge, chess or other well-known board games. There’s a well-stocked library available if you want to chill out and relax in the company of your favourite author, and the Internet Café is available for passengers wishing to keep up to date with the “outside world”

Splash Academy, Norwegian’s kid’s programme, is geared towards keeping children active, entertained, and amused. Mums and Dads can chill out and relax knowing that the kids are in good hands at Splash. The Academy operates on a fairly strict age group system, with kids organised into Guppies (6 months - 2 years), Turtles (3 – 5), Seals (6 - 9) and Dolphins (10 - 12).  The Tree Top Kids Club on Deck 12 is where a lot of the under 12’s action takes place, it’s kitted out with, an interactive dance mat, video jukebox, cinema and computer gaming facility. There’s also an arts and craft area along with an indoor jungle gym/obstacle course and viewing area for parents. There’s also a special area for under 2’s inside Tree Tops where parents and toddlers can take part in a range of interactive play group type activities.

Norwegian Jade also features an impressive number of top quality speciality restaurants including Moderno Churrascaria a Brazilian style steakhouse serving succulent skewers of barbequed meats, think lamb chops, filet steak, sausages and chicken, all carved at your tableside. You control how much you want with the Moderno green and red chip. Green for go and the carving continues, red to stop. There’s also a wide selection of perfectly prepared salads, sliced meats and traditional accompanying dishes from the salad bar. Le Bistro is Norwegian’s hallmark restaurant venue and it’s the perfect setting for that romantic meal you’ve been promising each other. Choose from first course classics such as foie gras , steamed mussels and escargot followed by an entrée of lobster, swordfish, steak or lamb. For desert choose from crème brulee, chocolate fondue and a host of other decadent options.  A visit to Teppanyaki is highly recommended – guests sit at a large table with fellow passengers watching as chefs show off their slicing and dicing skills whilst preparing the various courses on the Teppan Griddle. Other specialty eateries include Cagney’s Steak House and Sushi.
