Cloud 9 Spa features nearly 23,000-square-feet of pampering and fitness sessions (fees may apply). Cloud 9 Spa has a well-equipped fitness centre that features classes such as boot camp, spinning, abs attack and yoga. The spa’s thermal suite is decorated with colorful glass mosaics and includes a thalassotherapy pool, two steam rooms (one offers aromatherapy), and two dry-heat rooms. Dozens of treatments, including acupuncture, body sculpting, hot stones massage and even metabolism tests and body composition analyses are on the menu. Visit the spa on embarkation day to get free tours and seated neck massages.
The happiness of Carnival’s youngest passengers is a priority with a lengthy list of activities devoted to those 17 and younger. Camp Carnival is suited to 2-5 years olds, 6-8 years olds and 9-11 year olds in groups. Activities for the youngest set include art projects, songs and face-painting.The older kids get more sophisticated organized activities, such as rehearsals with the Fun Force acrobatic troop, plus access to Wii and PlayStation 2. Hours are long enabling parents some well earned time to themselves to relax or enjoy one of the many adult activities on board. Two well-designed teen clubs ages 12-14 and 15-17 years are open in the evenings. Circle C has a dance floor, video jukebox and internet stations. Club O2 features an array of gaming consoles, dance floor, music-listening stations and a soda bar with featured nightly activities. All ages enjoy the Warehouse featuring more than a dozen arcade games and air hockey.

Ocean suites encompass larger sitting areas and bathrooms with tubs. Grand Suites have 85-square-foot balconies and shower-whirlpool tub combos and double sinks. Unique to Carnival’s Dream class ships are the “family quint” cabins, sleeping up to five and featuring two bathrooms, perfect for families.
