Shipwreck Island’s another family favourite – with waterslides, a lazy river, a wave pool and lots of other attractions it’s a great day out for all the family, be a bit more adventurous by taking an Air Boat Adventure ride across the West Bay – it’s a fantastic opportunity to view the local wildlife including, of course, the alligators!
The crystal clear waters of the gulf are an angler’s paradise, try your hand at wreck fishing for red snapper, fishing the wade-able flats or maybe just dropping a line from one of the three beach piers in the area – if you don’t catch anything you’ll just have to tell everyone about “the one that got away”.
