Walk along the cobbled walkways of Disney’s Port Orleans Resort– French Quarter whilst admiring the breathtaking balconies with their delicate railings with a back drop of smooth jazz music and the sweet smell of magnolias. In the main lobby area, The Mint, you will find a delectable food court serving American and Creole food.
Doubloon Lagoon, this is the French Quarter’s main pool area complete with its very own blue serpent waterslide. Decorated with a colourful Mardi Gras feel, Doubloon Lagoon is one of the brightest pools at Walt Disney World Resort and scattered around the pool are comical characters from the Mardi Gras – watch as the children try to avoid being “sprayed”. Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory is the name of the main food court here at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort– French Quarter housed in a converted warehouse you can enjoy a big hearty cooked breakfast of eggs and bacon to set you up for the exciting days spent in the park.
