Disney’s Old Key West Deluxe Resort is themed on the Florida Keys, with a tropical setting, green landscapes, pastel victorian buildings set among swaying palm trees. Old Key West Resort is located close to Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park and Epcot – fantastic location. Take a boat trip to Disney Springs where there is plenty to keep you busy. Transportation is available from the resort to all Disney Parks. Hospitality House features 2 restaurants – Olivia’s Cafe – a taste of America with a Caribbean twist – and Good’s Food To Go – for a quick snack – a lounge, shop and arcade. The resort has a themed pool with water slide, spa, fitness centre, tennis, fishing, basketball, volleyball, golf and boating activities–plenty to keep the whole family amused.
Meet at Conch Flat Community Hall offering a daily programme of activities including board games, table tennis, foosball. You can even rent DVD’s to take back to your room. There’s plenty going on here to keep everyone entertained when you are not in one of the Disney Parks.
Upon check in you will be handed Hank’s Happenin’s a resort schedule to keep you in check with all the day to day activities. You will usually find between 4 and 6 activities a day here. Plenty to do to fill your days when you are not out and about exploring Orlando. Old Key West boats 2 restaurants. For good food on the go head to Good’s Food to go, located in the main pool area, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. Here you can grab snacks ranging from all American favourite’s burgers, sandwiches and hot dogs. Alternatively if it’s more of a casual, sit down restaurant you will be welcomed at Olivia’s cafe – specialising in home cooked American cuisine. Again serving breakfast, lunch and dinner.
A great way to visit the Disney Parks is with the Disney Ultimate Ticket which is exclusively designed for UK visitors. With this ticket, you can come and go as you please to all Six Disney Parks – it’s the only ticket you will need and it also gives you entry to Disney’s Oak Trail Golf Course and ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.
