About Canyon Adventure

Description

A stunning canyon adventure begins in dazzling Las Vegas, travelling through Utah and Arizona including Monument Valley, the “Eighth Wonder of the World”.

Las Vegas – Springdale – Bryce Canyon – Moab – Monument Valley – Capitol Reef National Park – Salt Lake City

Day 1-3: Las Vegas
Spend a dazzling 2 nights in Las Vegas, party like a celebrity, ride the famous Flowrider and shop until you drop at one of the Strip’s biggest malls, the Miracle Mile Shopping Centre.  With world-class golf, spas, shopping, shows, concerts and of course casinos this is where the action is 24/7 – awesome!
Hotel: Planet Hollywood

Day 3-4: Springdale (Close to Zion National Park)
With unsurpassed views of Zion National Park from your rustic lodge with seasonally heated pool and year-round spa enjoy the breathtaking scenery just 3 miles from the entrance of Zion National Park.  Explore 150,000 acres of ruggedly beautiful cliffs and canyons with 90% of the park being pristine wilderness.  The natural beauty of the park and multitude of recreational opportunities ranging from hiking to horseback riding provides hours of adventure.  Choose your adventure ranging from mild to incredibly challenging, attempt Canyoneering or simply relax and soak up the scenery, view the wildlife and explore at your own pace.
Hotel: Majestic View Lodge, Springdale

Day 4-5: Bryce Canyon
The drive to Bryce Canyon is simply astounding travelling through some of the most exquisite landscapes in America.  Drive to several vantage points to absorb the superb views and walk the loop trails down into the canyon experiencing the colourful stone “Hoo Doos” up close as they soar above you like giant terracotta warriors.  The spectacular Bryce Canyon is nature at its best with shifting shades of red and pink that make visitors want to stay and look just a little longer – inspiring.
Hotel: Best Western Bryce Canyon Grand Hotel, Bryce Canyon

Day 5-7: Moab, Utah
With two national parks near Moab there is an incredible adventure ahead.  To the north of Moab is Arches National Park with around 2,000 natural stone arches – each a geological wonder in its own right. The park is very easy and accessible for anyone on a self drive holiday and you can visit and enjoy seeing many of the arches from stops along the circular route through the park.  Adorn your hiking boots and follow one of the many trails to view such iconic points of interest as Delicate Arch — one of the largest natural stone arches.   Explore the scenery of Canyonlands National Park formed over 300 million years – also close to Moab and split into four areas, Island in the Sky, the Needles, the Maze and the rivers.  Each area shares a primitive desert atmosphere with unique opportunities for sightseeing.
Hotel : Redcliffs Lodge, Moab bordering the Colorado River’s best white water rapids at the foot of dramatic Red Rock Cliffs.

Day 7-9: Monument Valley, Arizona
The eighth wonder of the world Monument Valley is home to many famous awe-inspiring movies including “Forest Gump” and “Back to the Future III”.  The largest Indian Reservation in the United States and one of the most photographed points on earth, Monument Valley boasts sandstone masterpieces that tower at heights of 400 to 1,000 feet.  Spellbinding scenery and overwhelming landscapes are a true sight to behold, not just by its beauty but also by its size – truly unforgettable.
Hotel: Kayenta Monument Valley Inn, Monument Valley

Day 10-11: Capitol Reef National Park, Utah
In the heart of red rock country, Capitol Reef National Park is a hidden treasure filled with cliffs, canyons, dome and bridges in the Waterpocket Fold, a geologic monocline (wrinkle in the earth) extending almost 100 miles.  With diverse plant and animal life occupying the nearly quarter million acres, there is much to explore in this incredible part of the world.
Hotel: Red Sands Hotel, Torrey

Day 12-14: Salt Lake City, Utah
Utah’s capital and gateway to world renowned ski resorts, national parks and a modern downtown with superb restaurants, shopping, museums and performing arts venues.  Watch professional sports teams in action or go hiking and biking in nearby mountains.  There’s so much choice of things to do and perfect for all ages.
Hotel: Salt Lake Plaza Hotel

What can I say other than Travelplanners are the best for organising and booking your holiday. I have used Travelplanners for several years now and would honestly not use anybody else. Travelplanners provide a fantastic, friendly service and will not be beaten on price. They want you to be happy from start to finish. David recently organised my trip to Vegas and was honestly so friendly and efficient and as usual found the best deal for us. Thank you for everything David, will be back again next year.
Marie
We was recommended from family members to book my wife's dream holiday to Disney florida, with Marie as she is the guru of Disney, also being a big fan, she has really helped plan our trip, give us information and direction to find information about getting the best experience from our holiday, has been first class, can't recommend her enough for this sort of trip.

Tyler
Tyler is your man! After having tried the high street and ‘main stream’ travel agents and tried to have a go at building our own holiday with little success I decided to email Travel Planners late one night with a rough outline of our hopes for a multi destination trip to America. The very next morning I received a call from Tyler Vockel.
Paula
This travel company was recommended to me by a work colleague over a discussion about road trips in California. I had tried for months comparing prices with quite a few travel operators for travel to California in 2025. I was advised to try Travel Planners for their competitive prices, and personal customer services. Having given them a try, I was put through to Paula Stanton whom I gave my proposed itinerary.
Shirin
Shirin couldn't have done any more for me. She was so polite, helpful and full of enthusiasm. Thank you Shirin.
Excellent service.
Paul
We found Paul ( C ) very helpful and understanding when looking into our request for our fly drive holiday to the USA. We have used Paul over numerous years for booking our flights too the United States..

Stephen M
Stephen helped us to book our 2 week holiday to Orlando, and the whole process was seamless from start to finish! Stephen was extremely knowledgeable and was more than happy to give us some “top tips” along the way…he stayed in contact via email, answering my countless questions (sorry!!) and managed to find us the very best possible deal. The booking process was very efficient and I would not hesitate to book with them again in the future! Thank you ☺️
