And when the sun drops over the horizon get the family together for the Dive in Movie shows held on the big screen by the pool deck – a great way to end your day.

Nature lovers will enjoy a strolling along the Pensacola Beach Eco trail and learning about the local plant and animal life including dolphins, sharks, turtles, birds, plants, fish and more. Informative signage at key locations along the trail explores many of the ecological aspects of the area and many of the signs have additional information that can be accessed by scanning their handy QR codes with your mobile device.
Take the family to Pensacola National Naval Aviation Museum and walk in the footsteps of astronauts Neil Armstrong and John Glen who were once stationed at the nearby base. With over 150 military aircraft, an IMAX theatre and the MAX flight simulators for you to try out – it’s a great experience for all the family. And if you think you recognise some of the some of the scenery you probably do, it’s where some of the aircraft scenes from Top Gun were shot!
Just across the road from the naval Museum you’ll l find the Pensacola Light House. First lit in 1859 the lighthouse offers a climbing tour, admission to the keepers quarters and a fascinating display of historical exhibits, you’re already in the area so pop on over and enjoy the view from the top. Other historical sites of interest in the local area include the Historic Pensacola Village Houses, the TT Wentworth Florida State Museum and Fort Pickens.
Make sure you visit the Boardwalk before you head home – there’s plenty going on and it’s a great place to pick up some last minute souveneirs.
