Walk along the cobbled walkways of Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter whilst admiring the breathtaking balconies with their delicate railings with a back drop of smooth jazz music and the sweet smell of magnolias. With gas lampposts and fountains nestled everywhere, you will really feel you have been taken back to the Big Easy. In the main lobby area, The Mint, you will find a delectable food court serving American and Creole food – Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Doubloon Lagoon, this is the French Quarter’s main pool area complete with its very own alligator waterslide. Decorated with a colourful Mardi Gras feel, Doubloon Lagoon is one of the brightest pools at Walt Disney World and scattered around the pool are comical characters from the Mardi Gras – watch as the children try to avoid being “sprayed”.
